As a company in the cosmetics industry, we are aware of our responsibility to protect the environment and actively contribute to the conservation of resources. Waste management plays a central role in this. Our aim is to continuously reduce the amount of waste generated in our production and throughout the life cycle of our products. We are committed to making our production processes efficient, using materials sensibly and implementing innovative recycling solutions.
The company works closely with certified recycling companies to ensure that all recyclable materials such as glass, paper, aluminum and plastics are reused.
For some plastic waste, we have implemented a special take-back program with our disposal companies, who take back empty packaging. This promotes awareness of recycling and helps to extend the life cycle of our products.
The principle here is “recycling before disposal”. The partnership with Cycle4Green, which recycles 100% of the label backing paper, can save up to 90 tons of CO2 annually. Each department optimizes its work processes to avoid unnecessary waste. By switching to an electronic filing system, paper consumption is reduced immensely.
